I made a hat with ear flaps for my youngest, but its too big for her. It would be better for a 12-18 months sized baby.

1998 here I come!
Thats right kids, I'm creating my very first blog. I'm so retro, I feel like I should wear a cardigan to show the world just how hip I am.
But seriously, this is going to be slightly terrible at first, I was not the kind of girl that kept a diary. I'm much better at speaking than I am at putting thoughts on paper...or keyboard. Its much easier to ramble and be long winded when speaking, no one can hit the back button on a conversation.
I'll start off with a promise to start working on my projects more and posting them here and on Etsy. The holiday season is upon us and I need to get my stuff out there so you all say "oh em gee, this stuff is so awesome I should buy one for each of my friends! Best Christmas presents EVA!! They'll all love me."
A while back I found these awesome books from the thrift store. I picked up 3 volumes, each with several magazines inside of the Stitch by Stitch a step-by-step guide to sewing, knitting, crochet and needlework series from the early 80s. Its full of really awesome vintage patterns for everything from clothes to doilies. I'd like to start working on a project out of these, maybe shoot for one every 2 weeks to be completed.
So thats it, my first blog entry. Please sub, follow, tell your friends and leave me love with the promise of not being so awkward in the future. I assure you, I'm at least 30% more awesome than everyone you know.
